Vali is seeking an experienced and skilled Electrician to join our team in support efforts in Germany. This position will be a 30-90-day mission starting as early as October 1st. In this role, you will play a crucial part in installing a wide range of electrical equipment and support systems for HVAC activities. Your expertise will extend to diagnosing, repairing, and installing 220/240 volt (or higher), 50Hz electrical systems, encompassing various components such as electrical instrumentation, inverter drives, DCS/SCADA, LV and HV motors, switchgear and control gear, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), AC and DC systems, variable speed drives, and specialized control panels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, diagnose, and repair a diverse array of electrical systems and equipment for HVAC activities.
- Ensure compliance with British Electrical Standards or Host Nation Standards, following the more stringent requirements.
- Operate a Fluke Multi-Functional Tester proficiently to conduct British Standard 7671 testing and electrical inspections.
- Source and identify appropriate materials for specific installations, manage material requisitions through procurement processes, and oversee logistics until materials are received.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and utilize electrical diagnostic tools effectively.
- Perform maintenance and upkeep of electrical distribution systems on commercial/industrial and government projects.
- Meet physical job requirements, including working in confined spaces, lifting heavy equipment, and working at elevated heights.
Qualifications:
- Must be a United States Citizen, possess an active Secret Clearance, and hold a valid U.S. Passport.
- Minimum of five (5) years of field experience as a Journeyman or Master electrician.
- Graduated from a vocational or technical school with documentation as a Journeyman or Master electrician or graduated from a nationally recognized electrical trade program.
- Hold a valid US Journeyman or Master electrician license and certification.
