Position Summary
A Research Assistant provides research and administrative support to the research project/team.
The SDR Hub is a global network coordinated by the University of New South Wales. We welcome long-term partnerships and diverse collaborations across the public, private and non-profit sectors—aligned to national, regional and global commitments concerning climate change and sustainable development. This role will:
- Perform data entry and data collection.
- Attend research meetings and training sessions.
- Respond to routine enquiries related to research.
- Liaise with study participants and follow-up by telephone/email/survey.
- Perform routine tasks in the preparation of ethics and grant applications by reviewing and formatting abstracts and progress reports.
- Format interview booklets, questionnaires, study materials, research manuscripts and conference presentations and posters.
- Conduct event related duties including organising catering, registrations and audio visual.
- Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:
- Completion of a relevant qualification and previous experience supporting a research project.
- Proficient level of computer literacy with well-developed skills in Microsoft Office or equivalent applications
