2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more
Category Buyers are an integral part of the Procurement Department, ensuring best practice, value for money and supporting opportunities to secure 2gether’s financial position.
Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants must be over the age of 18.
What will you be doing?
This is a busy role where you will be working on multiple projects, including raising orders and contracts for goods and services, providing quotations, tender, and contract management services. You will also be ensuring internal policies are followed and identifying preferred suppliers for products and services to be contracted appropriately.
Buying experience is beneficial for the role, including materials management and awareness of products and suppliers. We will consider procurement experience in different backgrounds however a healthcare background would be beneficial. You will need excellent data skills with experience of excel and data analysis.
Although SIPS qualifications are not essential, some level of understanding is needed for the role. We look to develop our staff, and offer apprenticeships and further SIPS qualifications within our procurement team.
