About the Opportunity
Nova Scotia Health is hiring Students who are seeking employment within the healthcare sector. Nova Scotia Health has a variety of positions across the province available in many departments and facilities, if you are studying for a career in healthcare or in need of employment, we would be happy to review your application.
The following positions are available, including a brief description:
Laundry Worker- Ensure continuous processing of soiled and clean laundry and linen products.
Porter- Provides an escort, transfer, transportation and delivery service as requested.
Unit Aide- Responsible for ordering, stocking and maintaining all supplies and equipment to meet the needs of patients in their designated work area.
Utility Worker in Housekeeping/Environmental Services- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas.
Health Support Aide- Responsible for daily routines of care to support patients/clients with activities of daily living.
Site Screener- Responsible for tasks such as greeting and wayfinding.
Utility Worker or Restaurant Worker in Nutrition & Food Services- Works in the patient and retail food service setting.
Clerical- Supporting and coordinating efficient and effective daily operations.
