About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is hiring Students who are seeking employment within the healthcare sector. Nova Scotia Health has a variety of positions across the province available in many departments and facilities, if you are studying for a career in healthcare or in need of employment, we would be happy to review your application.


The following positions are available, including a brief description:


  • Laundry Worker
    • Ensure continuous processing of soiled and clean laundry and linen products.


  • Porter
    • Provides an escort, transfer, transportation and delivery service as requested.


  • Unit Aide
    • Responsible for ordering, stocking and maintaining all supplies and equipment to meet the needs of patients in their designated work area.


  • Utility Worker in Housekeeping/Environmental Services
    • Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas.


  • Health Support Aide
    • Responsible for daily routines of care to support patients/clients with activities of daily living.


  • Site Screener
    • Responsible for tasks such as greeting and wayfinding.


  • Utility Worker or Restaurant Worker in Nutrition & Food Services
    • Works in the patient and retail food service setting.


  • Clerical
    • Supporting and coordinating efficient and effective daily operations.

What We Offer
